And yeah I'm basically okay with the small amount of hiss from VCC, etc. Just for giggles I tried adding the FG-S eq to the same VMR and the hiss showed up again in this VMR rack. I have other tracks with the FG-N on them and it doesn't have this problem. Turn off the newly inserted EQ.no hiss.on.HISS. Loud hiss with everything on the EQ zeroed. Deleted the FG-N EQ then re-added it to the VMR. I disabled each plugin in the VMR until I found it was the FG-N EQ. I narrowed it down to the drum buss and then further narrowed it down to the Room mic stereo channel feeding the buss from BFD3. I was happily mixing a song and then all of a sudden heard some hiss.pretty loud hiss.

I've encountered a major hiss issue out of nowhere with the Slate VMR.
